Kyle Lozier started off the year great. It looks like he’s been having a little bit of trouble though as of late. He took on a new bucker from Duane and Nansen they call 955 Shady Corners today.
Not long after that, Cody Moore made a great ride on the Ty Prescott raised bull 625 Star Duck that took Jody Turner to an 83.5 point score yesterday as well to take him to the lead then. Today Cody overtook Jody by a half point.
Tyler Thomson made a solid ride on the Vold Three Year Old Bull Shadow Moves to keep his CFR hopes alive.
Between the Long Go and the Short Go, Darren Tuftin mounted his final bull backwards. He said he will be retiring after the bull riding here in the morning. He and Danny Hooper sure made us all laugh from all their jokes all the year’s they’ve been here together. Congratulations on a great career Darren. He
Canada’s top PBR BFTS Rider and current CPRA Number One, Ty Pozzobon made his way back to the Short Go in fourth after a 69 in the Long Go which he didn’t take he re-ride on. It was a solid move to set himself up good in the average.
Robert Bowers made a similar move with a 74 in the Long Go. He matched that score plus a half point for a 74.5.
