Drayton Valley, AB: We’ve reached the halfway point in the countdown today at number seven with Tanner Milan’s Comeback Season. After being so close so many times and set back after three surgeries, 2012 was his year. After the Ponoka Stampede, his ticket had been punched to Edmonton.
It was a 4.4 in the Finals to get him that first place average check.
His travelling partners were as happy for him as anyone could be after he knew he won it all along with that $5,000 bonus in the Showdown.
It all went uphill from there as he finished the season in the number two spot. He re-gained first after winning the first round for the second strait year. These next two interviews with Dianne Finstad come from the live CFR broadcast on 790 CFCW. Be sure to tune in once again next year.
Tanner was in the drivers seat by round five and he knew it.
In Round Six he needed to fend everyone off to win his first Canadian Championship. Milan won the round and removed all doubts. The sight at the end looked a lot like it did in Ponoka.

Congratulations on your outstanding year and Canadian Championship Tanner!
On a similar note, you’ll see Tanner’s older brother Baillie hazing for him nearly everywhere he goes. Baillie was last year’s Ultiamte Cowboy. That event is just one week away from today. They’ve updated the list of contestants and it’s sure to be another thriller.
