Well, it’s official! I am in full swing for the 2013 CPRA Rodeo Season! It has been great being able to meet and get to know all sorts of individuals. I am living my dream!

I started my busy streak with the 790 CFCW Listener Appreciation night. I was able to meet Joe Diffie and Mark Chesnutt and listen to their fabulous entertainment. The silent auction proceeds also went to Miss Rodeo Canada. Thank you so much 790 CFCW for your on going support of Miss Rodeo Canada!

The next day I hopped on a little 12 seater plane and flew south to Lethbridge for their media release party. The Lethbridge Whoop Up Days Exhibition committee is such a great group of people. I am looking forward to being there this August.

Bonnyville was my next stop, and my first CPRA Rodeo of the season. I had the pleasure of getting to know some wonderful young women in the BPRCA Rodeo royalty pageant. Visiting schools, sponsor visits, and of course the Rodeo kept us all very busy throughout Bonnyvillethe week. Congratulations to the new BPRCA Queen and Princess, and Amanda Griemann on a great year as the 2012 Queen! Thank you to the BPRCA committee for hosting me at their Rodeo!

I had a a special guest fly all the way from Denver, Colorado to join me for the Leduc Black Gold Days Rodeo. Miss Sarah Weins, Miss Rodeo Colorado 2013, blessed us with her presence this past weekend. I had so much fun with her, and I know all of you who had the opportunity to meet her would agree that she is an amazing ambassador. Actually making Rodeo history, Sarah is the first PRCA state queen to ever attend a CPRA Rodeo. A huge Thank you to the Leduc Black Gold Rodeo and Exhibition for their amazing hospitality and allowing Sarah to come up and join me!

Next stop, Brooks, Alberta. See you all there!

Happy Trails
