Green Pulls Through on Final Day of Season

HANNA, AB — Against the odds and against likely what any doctor would recommend,  Garrett Green pulled through to qualify for his second consecutive Canadian Finals Rodeo Qualification today at the Hanna Indoor Pro Rodeo.

An 87.5 on Vertigo was enough to move him past Tyler Pankewitz for the 12th and final spot at the CFR. Even with a broken kneecap, Green rode both his bulls this weekend for good scores. This weekend made the difference for him.

Stay tuned for a full list of #CFR40 qualifiers this coming week.

Ty Patten is one happy camper today, he’s qualified for his second CFR and driving home a new car too. Patten won the series between the White Lightning Dodge Pro Cowboy Crunch and the Hanna Indoor Pro Rodeo.

“I’ve got to thank the sponsors for putting up an award like that.” Ty told. “It feels pretty good to win this to gain some momentum going into the finals.”

On another note, Straws Milan has qualified for his first National Finals Rodeo appearance. He will go into the NFR in 12th place overall as of the standings right now. Stay tuned for that list later this week too.

Congratulations to everyone on another great season.
