CFR Bull Riding Qualifiers 6th to 1st

Coming into his first CFR in 6th place overall about $8,000 behind the standings leader, Tanner Byrne of Prince Albert, SK rides the Prescott Bull 769 In the Club for 88.5 points at the Jace Harty Memorial Bull Riding in Ponoka Alberta in June in this video. This was one of the best rides I saw all year.

5th place belongs to Tyler Pankewitz now of Ponoka, AB. In this video he rides this bull to the tune of 89 points in the short go of the Aaron Roy Invitational PBR Canada Event in Asquith, SK in June.

Chad Besplug of Claresholm, AB comes into the CFR in 4th place. He’s looking for his first Canadian Championship this week. According to Twitter today he said “The chase begins in 2 days.” Here he is 88 points on 777 Like Magic of Franklin Rodeo at the Airdrie Bikes and Bulls Bull Riding Event in August. When he makes more rides like this this week that buckle will be his.

In 3rd place is Beau Brooks he comes in just over $1000 from 1st place. Here he rides the Skori Bull Smoke Ring in the Long Go of the White Lightning Dodge Pro Cowboy Crunch in Oyen, AB in July.

Coming into the CFR in 2nd place just under $1000 behind the leader, Jesse Torkelson scores 90 points on Big Valley Black owned by Vold Rodeo at the Edmonton PBR Canadian Cup Event in January in the same arena he was crowned last years Canadian Bull Riding Champion.

And coming in 1st, here Denton Edge rides the Vold Rodeo Bull 555 Nails for an 89 point score at the Okotoks Pro Rodeo on September Long Weekend for the win.
