Calgary, AB: It sure was a great Ten Days at the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.
Chad Besplug made the show what it needed to be by winning the Bull Riding. I’m not sure how many Canadian Rodeo and Bull Riding Fans would have been mad if we got shut right out. Like I said yesterday Chad, Thanks for winning it. Haha.
Garth Brooks had to be the other highlight of the week. I’ve never been to such a concert before. The atmosphere in there probably won’t ever be duplicated anywhere ever again in my lifetime. We will see. I’ve got to thank my friend Shaun Morton for trading me that ticket to go with him in exchange for a place to stay for the week. I think I got the better end of the deal there. Thanks again Shaun!
As for the week here on the site, I hope you all enjoyed the coverage. It was limited to to the CBC Broadcasting rights but I still did the best I could. From what I’ve seen so far, both the Twitter and Facebook stats are way up.

Saturday’s Facebook posts on Everything Cowboy reached over 9,000 people as well for a number of impressions that I’m not sure of yet. I do know it’s more than ever before including everything from last year’s CFR and NFR.
We will see what the 101st Anniversary brings to the Calgary Stampede. I think they should turn back the clock so it’s the 89th “Annual” next year so we can have a real 100 years “Together” Party in 2023 since that’s when it will be 100 consecutive years of the Calgary Stampede.
Like I said, we will see.
