#Stampede101 – Day Three

Calgary, AB: In a week from today we will already be crowing this year’s $100,000 Champions from the Calgary Stampede. A number of contestants are already well on their way to making that top four showdown round.

Things are starting to get better coverage wise here as well. I was asked on Thursday about writing a few stories and doing a couple interviews for the PBR. Yesterday I caught up with Douglas Duncan after he won the round. If you haven’t seen it yet, here it is.

Next up, I talked to Jason Davidson today about the floods and we show you just how high the water was in the infield.

Stay tuned to PBR.com for more interviews from the 101st Anniversary of the first Calgary Stampede.

For full results, go on over to the Calgary Stampede Website.

The CBC Sports Live Stream is available here.

Joe Braniff and Duane Daines are working alongside the Fan 960 AM for a live broadcast of the rodeo all ten days. It’s also streamed live online at their website.

Moving on to Day Four and the final day of Pool A, we’ve got another nice pen of bulls coming up.

Shane Proctor has Franklin’s Hands Up. This bull has been ridden a few times for some good scores. Shane hasn’t won any money yet in this pool and will need a win even to have a shot at the bye into Sunday.

Ty Pozzobon should get himself a round win out of tomorrow with a qualified ride on Franklin’s 997 Red Bull. Ty went to 7.82 seconds today and likely would have won the round.

Depending on who else rides, Chad Besplug will place deep in tomorrow’s round on Kesler’s White Devil. They have been 86 on this bull pretty regular lately.

Scott Schiffner has already ridden all three of his bulls. He’s got another awesome one in round four with Calgary’s Grey Water. I’m going with an 87 here for Scott and a whole bunch more cash in his jeans.

Tanner Byrne hasn’t ridden anything yet but he went a long ways today on Man in Black. That big black bull looks tough to ride with how much he moves forward. Especially spinning away from Tanner’s hand. He’s got Drive By tomorrow though of Franklin’s and this one should be right up his alley for the round win.

In addition from earlier in the week, check out the Everything Cowboy YouTube Channel for a couple highlight videos from the Ranchman’s Renegades PBR Bull Bustin’.
