Calgary, AB: Tanner Byrne and Ty Pozzobon were number one and two in today’s Wild Card Saturday to advance their way to tomorrow’s Showdown Sunday in the Bull Riding.
Tanner rode the newly acquired Calgary Stampede Bull Burn it to the Ground for a $6,000 check. Ty Pozzobon rode Calgary’s Pawn Star for an 85 and $4,000. Ty tied with Luke Snyder and Seth Glause but had more money won so he advanced. As far as I know, Ty is one of the only guys to ever ride Pawn Star as
The only other Canadian to advance from Saturday’s Wild Card Round was Bareback Rider Mike Solberg. Mike rode the Calgary Stampede’s Twin Cherry for an 88.5 to finish second and pick up another $5,000.
