#1: Grant, Flundra and Schiffner win 2014 Calgary Stampede

CALGARY, Alberta — Number one on the Everything Cowboy countdown of the biggest moments of 2014 brought to you by 3D Bullriding Inc. is the $100,000 payday for Morgan Grant, Dustin Flundra and Scott Schiffner at this year’s Calgary Stampede.

For only having about 20% of the field of contestants, I think this is a pretty cool achievement for our Canadians competing in Calgary.

In fact this is the first time since 2006, when the format at the Stampede changed, for three Canadians to win the $100,000 checks. That year it was Davey Sheilds Jr., Joleen Seitz and Curtis Cassidy in the steer wrestling.

Calgary is the third highest paying rodeo in the world and the highest profile event in our country for rodeo, that’s why it’s number one on our countdown, especially when the home team wins.

Congratulations #TeamCanada

Thanks for following along and making this year the best yet for Everything Cowboy and myself, Ted Stovin. I’m pleased to announce that December has broke the record for traffic once again this year. Every month this year was better than the best month in 2013.

Here’s to another great one in 2015!!

Thank you again,

Ted
