ARROWWOOD, Alberta – The Buffalo Hills Bull Riding’s Nate Gardner puts countless hours into promoting, producing and putting together the best pen of bulls he can find. Last night, they may have been too good as only four qualified rides were recorded all evening, all coming from the long go of competition.
The best of those four was Tyler Pankewitz with his score of 82 on Bible Dust from the Flying High Rodeo Co. Nate told beforehand that match was a pick of his.
Over $120,000 has been paid out in just 16 events thus far in the 2014 Bull Riders Canada Inc. season. Pank earned himself another $2,660 on Wednesday pushing his season total up to $8,842 to sit him in seventh overall.
2013 BRC Finals Announcer Dustin Edwards caught up with Pankewitz concluding the event.
Ben Turner, Wacey Finkbeiner and Andrew Jamison also picked up some cash in Arrowwood.
The top bull on the night was Vold Rodeo’s Blue Crush who went up against BC Bull Rider Matt O’Flynn.
