The advent of Everything Cowboy started on a bench in Wickenburg, Arizona while attending University of Nevada in Las Vegas. While healing from shoulder surgery, my mother looked for a way for me to continue pursuing my passion in the Rodeo and Bull Riding industry and sent me to a business development course in Orlando, Florida. It was here that the first edition of the Everything Cowboy website was created and the vision of its place in the western sport landscape was born.
Everything Cowboy has grown to be a recognized brand in the world of western sport participating in event coverage, live music, social media, production management to writing for publications like American Cowboy. Everything Cowboy aims to revolutionize the way western sports are consumed and perceived through utilizing modern technology and employing strategies used by the top sporting structures in the world.
My name is Ted Stovin, creator of Everything Cowboy Inc. I started Everything Cowboy out of the desire to provide a new look at the western sports world in Canada. What began as video of events shot from my phone while still competing as a bull rider, has turned into a multi-faceted media and production company.
I am thrilled to have created something in the space in which my passion lies. In addition to Everything Cowboy I am proud to be a founding member of the Canadian Cowboy Ski Race, and an original founding member, providing the name to Bull Riders Canada Inc.
With the loss of my friend and fellow competitor Ty Pozzobon, it became apparent that our sport was missing advocacy for athlete well-being. Tanner Byrne, Rusty Clunie, Chad Besplug, Ty’s family, myself, and countless others have since created the Ty Pozzobon Foundation “To protect the health and well-being of western sports athletes inside and outside the arena.” Since its inception, we have raised over $250,000 for the cause.
I consider myself a disruptor, speaking out for what I believe in, which lent itself to the recent creation of Cowboy Sh*t the Podcast with my pal and roommate, Wacey Anderson.
