Foley 524C earns Marwayne ABBI Buckle

MARWAYNE, Alberta — Stop number two on the 2017 ABBI Canada Futurity series is in the books to kick off the 6th edition of the Marwayne PBR. A total of 32 bucking bulls from Alberta and Saskatchewan competed inside the Marwayne Arena.

Foley Bucking Bulls’ 534C Firebeatz won the buckle on Friday thanks to a score of 83 points. The win earned the Foley crew nearly $4,000 and important points in the 2017 ABBI Canada Standings.

Vold Rodeo’s 577 too the second spot thanks to 82.5 points for $2,760. Placing in both Claresholm and Marwayne are the bulls in the third and fourth spots. Rafter G Cattle Co.’s 53 was fifth in Claresholm and third in Marwayne. Earnings on the year for 53 have now passed $3,000. Ahead of 53 in the ABBI Canada Futurity Standings is C93 from the Flying High Rodeo Co. C93 won in Claresholm for $3,710 and took fourth on Friday for another $1,320 to lead those ABBI Canada standings after the first two events with over $5,000 in earnings.

Rounding out the top six making money in Marwayne were Wild Hoggs/Chmelnyk/Bryant’s 592 in fifth for $1,080 and Thompson Rodeo’s 517 Adams C51 in sixth earning $960.
