| Ground Rules | |
| 1. Points will count toward the 2012 Canadian Standings | |
| 2. Limited to thirty (30) contestants | |
| - Top twelve (12) from the final 2011 C.P.R.A standings | |
| - Remaining eighteen (18) positions will be from the 2011 C.P.R.A standings as of August 7, 2012 | |
| - Thirty (30) contestants will compete on one (1) head in the long go | |
| 3. A maximum of six (6) contestants will advance to the short go and compete on one (1) head | |
| 4. All ties will be decided by the back judge for short go entry. If less than six (6) qualify for the short go, a random draw will be made from contestants receiving a no score to fill the positions. | |

| - Long Go: 25% of prize money after deductions | |

| - Short Go: $1000 split 40, 30, 20, 10 | |
