If you are wondering about advertising on the site our rates for an ad like the ones on the right are $20.00 CAD per month. (As of Feb 1st, 2011) There are limited spots so they will rotate once the spots are filled. If you would like to put something up for sale please contact me in whichever way you like the best and we will work out a deal. My terms for the store page are that I do not charge to put an item up for sale but I will take a percentage of the sale once the item does sell. I hope to hear from you soon,

Bullriding in Ottawa: went to the PBR last Saturday, great show! So happy to see the PBR doing a Canadian Circuit. Is it possible to get updates on the riders who were injured??? There was one in particular, who left on a stretcher… have been preoccupied thinking of how he is doing. To all those riders who were injured, our thoughts are with you and speedy recovery to you all!

Kim was the bull rider who was injured Saturday in Ottawa. He got a concussion that night. He is now how and doing OK!
Hey Ted; I was in Ottawa that night too ..me and my father were amazed at the event. However,we were seated very close to the gate that the rider came out and appeared severely injured. While he may have had a concussion too, the main injury seemed would result from a full direct bull hoof hitting the rider in the stomach area -- to me it looked like a major trauma … with concern that he would live through it. There must be more to his injury than a concussion??

The report from the PBR was that he was at home with a concussion and after the event he was at home and doing OK. That’s all the information that I received. They may have more on their site though!
Hey, how’s it going? I love this site, but was wondering if you could help me out? I’ve grown up on a beef farm, mear hamilton, on. all my life, and always wanted to ride a bull. Unfortunately our bulls are too expensive and spoiled to use this way. I’m in my late 20′s and just wondering if u knew of a school or or set up that I could pay and get a couple of first time rides, thanks.
Hey Kris, I would suggest you look at going to one of Gary Leffew’s school’s in Nipomo, CA. It would be the trip of a lifetime for you and would be worth every penny. Check out Gary’s site from clicking the “Leffew Bull Riding World” link from the homepage of Everything Cowboy or else by visiting http://www.LeffewBullRidingWorld.com Check out Gary’s schools and make sure he knows I sent you. His son Brett is also starting an event called the Leffew Bull Riding Weekend. I have learned from both of them and will be back again to learn more. They are the best and teach the best to be better.
Ted -- we have a legendary rodeo arena in Oklahoma called the 3Crosses/ KEN LANCE ARENA and youth camp. In Union Valley OK (just south of Ada). We have PRCA and a youth rodeo bible camp in the late spring. We’re always wanting to invite folks like yourself to partner with us to reach the rodeo crowd (we also have a cowboy church) and to train youth about rodeo. Great website -- I have enjoyed reading your stories.
I am writing from the BBC in London, we are currently making a new engineering documentary series for the BBC and Discovery.
We are planning some filming in Brazil in April / May 2012 and I am looking for a rodeo somewhere in Brazil during these months. I know about the Jaguariuna rodeo. Are you able to provide me with any information about any other rodeos that will be happening while we are in Brazil? I have contacted the IPRA and PBR and am waiting to hear back.

Thank you very much for your kind comments about my site. I do put a lot of work into it. I’m surprised to get an email from you though that’s for sure!
As for the rodeos in Brazil I can contact my friends there who run the IPR and ask them what the best ones to go to would be. Jaguarina would be the best one probably however they will know about many more too. It may be good for you to contact them directly as well. I could also do my best to point you in the right direction with the PBR.
