Falkland, BC (CPRA) Current Leaders

Falkland, BC: A big thanks goes out to Shawn Metchewais of Reaita Creek Scoreboards for sending along this video from Falkland.

Below are the current leaders from almost every event.

Stay tuned for more today as the rodeo finishes this afternoon with the performance starting at 2:00pm.

Dusty Lavalley leads the Bareback with an 86.5 point score.

 

Team Roping: Chase Simpson/Braidy Davies, 5.0 seconds

 

Kyreon Geiger now leads the Saddle Bronc with an 80 point score.

 

Mark Nugent leads the Tie Down Roping with a 9.1

 

Stephen Culling leads the Steer Wrestling with a 3.8 second run.

 

In the Barrel Racing it’s now Lisa Lockhart in first. That video is on it’s way up.

Falkland, BC: From the Canadian Pro Rodeo Association’s Falkland Stampede, here are your leaders after day one of competition.

Saturday May 18th the Rodeo began. It wraps up on Monday afternoon when the champions are named.

Super Saturday at the Cloverdale Rodeo

Cloverdale, BC: From Pool A, the following contestants earned their spots for Monday’s Finals.

Bareback: Ty Taypotat, Jason Havens, Ryan Gray and Matt Lait.

Saddle Bronc: Troy Crowser, Sam Kelts, Jim Berry and Dawson Jandreau

Barrel Racing: Sydni Blanchard, Lindsay Sears, Rylee McKenzie and Brittany Fleck

Bull Riding: Tanner Byrne, Skyler McBride, Dakota Buttar and Tim Bingham

On Saturday evening, Pool B Started up. Chandler Bownds highlighted the evening as the last man out making a 90 point ride on the Kesler Bull Turbo Tax as a re-ride after his first bull fell down.

In the Bareback it was Chase Erickson taking on Country Trail for an 88. NFR Qualifier Tyrell Smith won the Saddle Bronc to pick up nearly $3,000 with an 86 on Dark Shadow.

Trula Churchill was the Barrel Racing winner with a time of 15.04 seconds.

Cloverdale Rodeo Pool A Round One Results

Cloverdale, BC: Matt Lait won Round One of Pool A here in Cloverdale on the Kesler’s Superstar bucking horse and last year’s Bareback Horse of the Canadian Finals Rodeo, Street Dance with an 88.5 point score to pick up a $2,700 check. Dusty Lavalley and Brian Bain split second with matching 86′s.

Troy Crowser of Whitewood, SD won the Saddle Bronc with an 86 on 817 Crash Gate. Sam Kelts was second with an 83.5 for $1,400.

Two Time World Champion Lindsay Sears took the Barrel Racing with a 15.23 second time. Sydni Blanchard was a close second at 15.31.

In the Bull Riding in was Skyler McBride on Kyle Style with a solid 86.5 point score. There were a number of qualified rides last night. In fact eight of a possible twelve.

Round Two of Pool A goes this afternoon starting at 2:00pm. Round One of Pool B starts tonight at 7:30pm.
