About
Who I am:
My name is William Stovin, but most people know me as Ted. I was born in Drayton Valley, Alberta, Canada and lived there until I finished high school. I do still call that home but am currently living in Calgary, Alberta pursuing the opportunity of this very site and the company which runs it, Everything Cowboy Inc. I have been a contestant on the rodeo scene since 2002 and in 2009 rode bulls in four different countries in just two months.
Rodeo and most of all, the Cowboy way of life are my passion. I have written articles for the Rodeo Connection based in Alberta, Canada along with now a monthly addition to the Canadian Pro Rodeo News. The highlight of my writing career thus far being an article for the June/July 2012 Issue of American Cowboy Magazine. If you’d like to know more about myself and what I do, you can do what most other people do today and check me out on Facebook.
What I do:
EverythingCowboy.ca has grown into much more than I ever thought it would in the first two years since it’s beginning. To state it simply, it covers the Canadian Rodeo and Bull Riding News.
If you are wondering about advertising on the site our rates for an ad like the ones on the right are $85.00 CAD per month. (As of June 1st, 2012) There are limited spots so they will rotate once the spots are filled. You can also check out the other advertising options on the Advertising Rates page which you can find on the top navigation bar.
Event promotion services have become very popular in 2012. If you’d like to bring EverythingCowboy.ca to cover and promote your event, contact me by phone at (780) 542-1638 or by email at TedStovin@gmail.com Charges on event promotion depend on the services desired as well as distance to travel and many other factors.
Many of you have been very interested in having your video from your run, stock or ride. Videos from select events are available to be sent to you directly for your own personal use and viewing. Again, contact me with which event and video you’d like. Prices vary.
If you would like to put something up for sale please contact me in whichever way you like the best and we will work out a deal. My terms for the store page are that I do not charge to put an item up for sale but I will take a percentage of the sale once the item does sell.
Of course there are many other things I can do and would like to help you out in any other way in which I can. Please contact me for any other inquiries.
Why I do it:
The reason why I chose to start up Everything Cowboy in the first place actually has been a crazy process. Only two weeks before the site started up one morning I was in Wickenburg, AZ after I got some new heels put on my boots. I thought to myself “I want to have my own western store someday where I can sell all of the things I believe from all of my friends and everyone with the same views as me.” Only about ten minutes later I got a call from my Mom and she said that I needed to book myself some flights to Orlando, Florida to attend the Ultimate Internet Boot Camp to build my own website there. So I obviously said yes and here I am now with my own site.
After building EverythingCowboy.ca I had no idea where it would go. It’s been amazing to be able to do what it’s done so far. What keeps it going now is the support from everyone involved and that benefits from it. I want to see our sport go further than it ever has in the time that I’m able to be a part of it. I hope that with my work with EverythingCowboy.ca does just that and benefits everyone in the sports of Rodeo and Bull Riding in Canada and anywhere else it can affect.

Hey Craig,
Thanks for the comment and encouragement. For anyone in the Southwest Region of the NIRA, check out Craig’s photos by simply clicking on his name on his comment. That will take you right to his site. Craig has a lot of cool pictures you don’t get to see all the time because Craig actually hangs out behind the chutes with the contestants and shows you more about what it’s really like behind the scenes. Check it out!

When I was growing up in New Zealand I was always fascinated by the cowboy lifestyle. Now that I’m living in North America I get to experience it, and with your website I get to live it. You’ll never get me on a bucking bull, so I appreciate that you do it and film it.
There is so much potential and growth with this website that I look forward to seeing whats new.
